This position is to fill one (1) full-time, permanent position working 75 hours bi-weekly.

The Labour Relations branch provides labour relations leadership and expertise for the development and administration of employee relations for the Yukon government, manages the collective bargaining processes and supports departments in employee relations matters.

We are looking for an experienced administrative professional who is energetic and extremely organized. Our ideal candidate is someone who will be dedicated to providing high quality support to our branch during our organization's collective bargaining period. We are looking for someone who is keen and motivated to support the various components of our work including designing and preparing our quarterly newsletter and providing general high-volume administrative support.

Essential Qualifications

  • Coursework in office, business administration or related
  • Experience providing executive administrative services to senior management and support to a branch/unit
  • Experience in electronic file management
  • Experience drafting documents and correspondence
  • Experience working within a labour relations related field will be considered an asset

Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.
