We are currently seeking a talented individual to join our Corporate Services team. This position is a key member of the Acquisition Services and Planning unit. The Junior Purchasing Officer will assist Purchasing Officers to prepare, coordinate, and execute procurement activities for Yukon government departments in accordance with Yukon government's procurement policies, guidelines, and procedures.

Essential Qualifications

Please submit your resume clearly demonstrating how you meet the qualifications below. Selections for further consideration will be based solely on the information you provide in your resume.

  • Experience providing administrative support in a high-volume supply chain environment.
  • Experience associated with procurement functions including planning and developing product standards and specifications, tendering, evaluating, and awarding contracts.
  • Experience in project management and supply chain management.


Candidates who have education, training, and/or experience equivalent to the essential qualifications listed above may be equally considered.
