Job Description: The SPH Mission Office Coordinator, accountable to the Director of Mission, offers administrative support for activities and processes of the Mission Office (which oversees the Healing Arts and Spiritual Care, Spiritual Care Education) in its effort to support St. Paul's Hospital in the living of its vision, mission and values.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Experience:

  • 3-5 years experience in an administrative support position

Education:

  • Completion of Grade 12 supplemented by a recognized business course

Competencies:

  • Advanced - communication skills
  • Advanced - organizational skills
  • Advanced - interpersonal skills
  • Advanced - computer skills

Knowledge & Abilities:

  • Knowledge of diverse, culturally safe and representative workforce
  • Ability to recognize and maintain confidential information
  • Advance computer skills, including Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Access).
  • Ability to be self-directed, creative, collaborative and to have sound judgement
  • Ability to adapt to changing conditions
  • Appreciation of and enthusiasm for the mission, vision and values of St. Paul's Hospital and the Sisters of Charity of Montreal (Grey Nuns)
  • Basic familiarity of the teachings of the Catholic Church
