Job Description: The Assistant Director of Care (ADOC) ensures the delivery of high-quality nursing care by all nursing department staff on a 24-hour basis, while maintaining a safe and healthy environment for staff, residents, and families. Reporting to the Associate Director, Resident Care, the ADOC provides leadership, oversight, and support for the nursing team. They monitor and improve resident care, analyze quality idicators, and address challenges within the nursing department.

Experience:

  • Seven (7) years leadership experience
  • Five (5) years experience in long term care is mandatory and a dedication to quality of life/care for our residents
  • Experience in strategic planning
  • Leader who has developed planning and programs in multi-stakeholder environment
  • Must be eligible for SRNA or CLPNS

Licenses:

  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
