Job Description: We are seeking an enthusiastic professional to join our Occupational Health and Safety team. Reporting to the Manager, Occupational Health and Safety, the Confidential Administrative Assistant is accountable for contributing to the efficient operations of Occupational Health and Safety by providing timely and accurate confidential administrative support.

Human Resources Exemption: No

Experience

  • 3-5 years experience in an administrative support position

Education

  • Grade 12 plus graduation from an approved Office Education training program

Other Education and Training

  • Basic medical terminology

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Ability to effectively manage a large volume of work
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent public relations skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Exercise sound judgment under pressure
  • Ability to be self motivated
  • Ability to work independently
  • Proficient in the operation of word processing, spreadsheet and power point
