Job Description:

  • Reporting to the Manager, Employment Coordination-Staffing, the Confidential Administrative Assistant is accountable for contributing to the efficient operations of Employment Services by providing timely and accurate confidential administrative support.

    Human Resources Exemption: No

    Experience
  • 3-5 years experience in an administrative support position

Education

  • Grade 12 plus graduation from an approved Office Education training program

Knowledge and Abilities

  • Proficient in the operation of word processing, spreadsheet and power point
  • Self motivated with the ability to work independently
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Exercise sound judgment under pressure
  • Ability to effectively manage a large volume of work
  • Typing speed of 65 - 70 wpm
  • Excellent interpersonal, organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent public relations skills
