We are looking for a technical documentation specialist who will report to the team lead of service technical information, and who'll be tasked with preparing convenient and accurate technical information. As part of your role, you'll make a difference for thousands of dealers and for various internal and external customers.

YOU'LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Collaborate regularly with different departments, such as engineering, after-sales service, product safety and legal.
  • Analyze technical changes on vehicles that impact upcoming service information.
  • Organize your work in accordance with the document production schedule.
  • Structure content for efficient document creation.
  • Prepare and assemble work packages for vendors (required procedures, drawings, specifications, etc.)
  • Review content created by the vendors to ensure it is accurate and it meets the standards.

YOU'LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Passionate about technical information and its architecture.
  • Strong communicator in English and French, both spoken and written. Ability to communicate with colleagues in the United-States, Mexico, and Europe.
  • Hold a bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, related field of study, or relevant practical experience.
  • Self-directed, organized, and proactive.
  • Ability to manage several projects simultaneously.
  • Solid knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and mechatronic systems, particularly related to motor vehicles and always curious to learn more!
  • Good computer skills and ability to adapt to new software. Knowledge of 3D CAD software an asset.
