Now, if you were to come on board as our Translator, we'd ask you to do the following for us:
• Translate and proofread organizational documents, executive/stakeholder communications, corporate publications, e-blast, newsletters etc.
• Proofread, translate and edit materials for accuracy, fluency ensuring all content adheres to internal and external guidelines.
• Create bilingual documentation, reports, and presentations, ensuring clarity and coherence in both languages.
• Ensure correct tone, style, terminology align with corporate messaging.
• Plan, schedule and monitor assigned communication and translation projects working with internal teams.
• Ensure compliance with corporate and brand standards.
Think you have what it takes to be our Translator? We're committed to hiring the best talent for the role. Here's how we'll know you'll be successful in the role:
• University degree in French-language, translation, communications, or equivalent work experience.
• 4 years' experience in English-to-French translation with proven experience in editing and revision.
• Fluent in both written and oral (Canadian English/Canadian and Quebec French).
• Strong understanding of translation principles, issues and developments.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities, meet tight deadlines and work with minimal supervision.
• Exceptional attention to detail, strong communication skills and research capabilities.
• Proficiency in word processing, e-mail, internet/intranet.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and other software.
