ABOUT THE ROLE:

Become part of our dynamic team as a Linguistic Workflow Coordinator for the Linguistics and Compliance Service, reporting to the Senior Manager. You will manage and organize linguistic, translation, and revision workflows for Sephora Canada, ensuring each request is assigned to the right Linguistic Specialist. We are looking for candidates who are adaptable, agile, and highly organized, with excellent time management and resource efficiency skills. WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Coordinate and oversee linguistic workflow platforms
  • Manage, receive, analyze, and assign incoming linguistic tasks through the Trados platform
  • Prioritize and negotiate deadlines with internal and external clients
  • Evaluate client needs and requests in collaboration with our external language service providers
  • Serves as a liaison between clients and Linguistic Specialists
  • Manage the Linguistic Services mailbox to ensure tasks are completed within set deadlines
  • Translate documents from English to French across all functional areas of the business (HR, Digital Learning, Marketing, Retail Operations, etc.)
  • Review copy to ensure linguistic compliance and consistency with Sephora's brand tone of voice for both internal and external communications
  • Provide recommendations for process improvements in alignment with Sephora Canada's commitment to continuous improvement and innovation
  • Complete administrative tasks promptly, supporting functional KPIs and service level agreements
  • Maintain strong relationships with brands and US partners
  • Stay updated on industry and language trends
  • Ensure compliance with OQLF, Charte de la langue française, Bill 101, and Bill 96 requirements

WHAT YOU'LL BRING:

  • Bachelor's degree in Translation, or equivalent
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and cultural knowledge of Canadian English and French
  • Experience in retail or beauty industry preferred
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe suite, and Computer-Assisted Translation (CAT) tools and translation management systems
  • Strong project management, translation, and document proofreading skills
  • You have a keen eye for detail, prioritizing integrity and accuracy in your craft
  • Tech savvy with different technologies and interfaces
  • Agile and flexible with the ability to support multiple projects and manage shifting priorities
  • Exceptional problem solving/critical thinking skills
  • You maintain professionalism in all situations, especially under tight deadlines
  • Positive attitude in the face of change, client-centered mindset and proactive approach to problem solving and resolution
  • You operate efficiently under pressure and manage workload effectively to meet deadlines in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment
