We are seeking a Project Scheduler to join our team on a high-profile airport infrastructure project. This complex and dynamic project demands advanced scheduling expertise, strong resource and cost management capabilities, and effective coordination with diverse stakeholders. The ideal candidate will excel in managing schedules for large-scale infrastructure projects, adapting to evolving project scopes, and collaborating with multi-disciplinary teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Job Responsibilities:
1. Schedule Development and Management:
• Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive project schedules using Oracle Primavera P6 and TILOS.
• Prepare and manage Preliminary, Baseline, and Progress Schedules, ensuring alignment with contractual requirements and deadlines.
• Collaborate on the integration of schedule data with BIM models to support construction sequencing and site planning where applicable.
2. Resource and Cost Loading:
• Populate schedules with resource and cost data, including labor, equipment, and materials, to meet project demands.
• Generate resource histograms, cashflow diagrams, and perform resource leveling to optimize efficiency and address resource conflicts.
3. Schedule Reporting and Analytics:
• Produce detailed reports, variance analyses, and progress updates to monitor performance against the baseline.
• Utilize tools like Power BI to create schedule performance dashboards and data visualizations.
• Conduct forensic schedule analysis, including Time Impact Analysis (TIA) to assess delays and recommend recovery strategies.
4. Critical Path and Risk Management:
• Identify and track critical path activities and constraints impacting key milestones.
• Provide risk-based schedule analysis and propose mitigation measures to minimize project risks and delays.
5. Stakeholder Coordination and Compliance:
• Work collaboratively with design, construction, and operations teams to align schedules with project deliverables.
• Integrate schedules from various stakeholders into a comprehensive master project schedule, addressing interdependencies and constraints.
• Account for operational constraints, such as seasonal shutdowns, blackout periods, and interface milestones, within the scheduling framework.
Requirements:
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in project scheduling for large-scale infrastructure or major civil projects.
• Proficiency in Oracle Primavera P6.
• In-depth understanding of advanced scheduling techniques, including resource and cost loading, variance analysis, and Critical Path Method (CPM).
• Proven ability to manage complex schedules while adapting to evolving scopes and priorities.
• Familiarity with forensic schedule analysis methods, such as Time Impact Analysis (TIA).
• Strong analytical skills to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams and stakeholders.
• Exceptional organizational skills to handle tight deadlines and competing deliverables.
• Familiarity with integrating scheduling practices with BIM systems is an asset.
