Job Description

Department: Medical Imaging and Laboratory Medicine
Reports to: VP, Vice President, Clinical, Diagnostics and Laboratory Medicine and Senior Dir, Medical Imaging
Work Model: Hybrid
Grade: A0:09
Hours: 37.5 per week
Salary: $66,807 to $83,499 annually (To commensurate with experience and consistent with UHN compensation policy)
Status: Permanent Full-Time
Closing Date: January 11, 2025

Duties

  • Ensures efficient and effective operation of the office
  • Coordinates, organizes or plans multi-faceted committee meetings and other meetings/events
  • Coordinates and maintains electronic calendar/schedule for VP and Senior Director
  • Manages and coordinates the flow of information between the VP and Senior Director to Medical Imaging and Laboratory Medicine by acting as a liaison and a resource, managing and coordinating the flow of internal/external information
  • Alerting the VP and Senior Director, in a timely fashion of material that requires immediate response
  • Utilizing considerable judgment and independence in responding to correspondence, within scope of authority, in a timely manner
  • Preparing relevant outgoing materials

Qualifications

  • Completion of a degree at a Bachelor's level
  • Seven (7) years related office administration experience
  • Extensive on-the-job computer/word-processing, database and spreadsheet software experience, experience in a Microsoft Office environment
  • Previous supervisory experience
  • Experience working in a health care environment
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Very strong ability to prioritize workload
  • Strong problem solving skills
