Purpose

As part of the Sales Effectiveness team, the Bilingual Manager, Proposal Writing will play a key role supporting the Global Transaction Banking Sales organization by developing customized client-facing materials such as RFx responses (e.g., RFP, RFI, RFQ), proactive sales-driven proposals, PowerPoint presentations, pitchbooks, and treasury consultative documents. The incumbent will work collaboratively with the sales team and partners across International Banking to contribute to the financial success of the Global Transaction Banking Sales team globally.

What You'll Do

• Collaborate with partners to drive the development of bid responses from kick-off to submission, ensuring compliance with all RFx requirements and deadlines. You will lead regular meetings, coordinate presentation strategies, brainstorm solutions to challenges, and identify benefits for clients.
• Write concise, persuasive content, translating complex information into digestible written material that will be consumed by a range of audiences.
• Draw on our database of content, and input from subject matter experts, to assemble client-facing documents based on requirements outlined by sales managers. You will assist with maintaining and increasing the content database as information is gathered for RFx projects.
• Manage accurate records on proposals, presentations, and collect debrief information to disseminate to the relevant internal stakeholder groups.
• Complete detailed and accurate treasury consultative documents and assist with identifying areas of potential new business opportunities or service improvements for consideration.
• Support with other duties as assigned by the Senior Manager, Sales Effectiveness.

What You'll Bring

• French fluency (oral and written) is required for this position. The candidate will be expected to articulate complex Banking concepts in naturally written and spoken French.
• You have an undergraduate degree in Finance, Business, Marketing, or a related discipline.
• You have 5+ years of related work experience in responding to RFPs, preferably within a bank, financial institution, and/or related finance industry.
• Knowledge of transactional banking services for large international businesses or have a proven ability to rapidly develop expertise.
• You have excellent written communication skills, and express complex ideas and concepts clearly and concisely. You have an exceptional eye for detail, backed by a solid foundation of grammar and punctuation.
• You have great proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel), and Adobe Acrobat. You have experience utilizing a centralized content library. Graphic design skills, particularly as applicable to technical writing, are an asset.
• You are self-motivated with high organizational and stakeholder/project management skills, being able to clearly communicate verbally in English and Spanish, manage resources, track deliverables, prioritize tasks, and drive multiple projects and requests under tight deadlines.
• Certification by the Association of Proposal Management Professionals (APMP) is an asset.

Work Arrangement

Work in a hybrid, standard office-based environment (minimum 3 days in office); non-standard hours are a common occurrence.
