The Digital Sales & Marketing team leads consumer experiences for TELUS e-commerce, digital communications, and omni-channel enablement. We're harnessing the power of digital to fuel sales and performance, empower customers with self-serve solutions on TELUS.com and the My TELUS app, and engage our audience with highly-personalized campaigns about our innovative products, bundles, and social purpose differentiators. We collaborate with internal partners to provide analytics, insights, resources, and recommendations to guide every decision and design on our digital channels. Together with our partners, our investments are focused on reducing cost to serve, driving conversion and growth, and ensuring every single customer interaction is consistent and exceptional, no matter where they choose to shop. As a Copywriter for the Personalization Sales & GTM Team within Digital Sales & Marketing, you'll create personalized and seamless digital experiences for our customers through engaging, thoughtful, and consistent content. You'll enjoy writing targeted and captivating copy to drive sales across our Mobility, Internet, TV and Security portfolios, and deliver the best shopping experience for different customer segments.

Here's how

  • Craft Clear Communication: Ensure our digital communication is clear, relevant, and jargon-free, matching the TELUS brand voice and tone
  • Collaborate with Teams: Work with product owners, designers, and stakeholders to design great content and demonstrate industry expertise to improve and scale content practice
  • Drive Customer Engagement: Create content that catches the attention of our customers and keeps them engaged throughout their purchase journey
  • Targeted Campaigns: Operate as the primary copywriter for all targeted "Below-the-Line" (BTL) campaigns such as cross-sell, renewals, retargeting, and key product launches like the iPhone
  • Optimize and Innovate: Target different audiences with personalized copy to drive higher conversion, propose creative options for A/B testing, and shape the copywriting strategy for key pages on TELUS.com
  • Data-Driven Decisions: Use data and stakeholder feedback to inform decisions, refine strategies, and drive continuous improvement
  • SEO Integration: Collect and use SEO information to organically integrate into the copywriting
  • Share Knowledge: Contribute to the overall practice culture by sharing learnings and knowledge, building strong relationships, and communicating our goals

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of proven copywriting experience in digital, preferably within telecom or a related industry
  • Experience working with user experience, strategy, and design teams
  • Familiarity with copywriting strategy best practices, user experience, and SEO
  • Strong interpersonal, storytelling, and communication skills
  • Skilled in persuasive writing and editing in a sales and marketing environment
  • Experience in rapid go-to-market environments
  • Understanding of business, technical, and customer needs in online merchandising
  • Highly detail-oriented, organized, and passionate about data-driven decision-making
  • Commitment to creating accessible content

Salary Range: $70,000-$104,000

Performance Bonus or Sales Incentive Plan: 12%

Actual total compensation will be determined based on factors such as knowledge, skills, performance and experience. In addition, TELUS offers rewarding benefits, which may vary per job function
