The role:

You will be responsible for providing administrative support for invoicing, funding submission, cash application, and accounts receivable. You will work side-by-side with your managers to process and reconcile deposits, balance cash flow, and submit invoices to private institutions, insurance carriers, and the government.

How you will spend your days:

  • Process information in Navision. You will post sales credits in NAV, based on requests & guidelines; process banking in NAV as required within one business day; and apply funds in NAV to outstanding AR.
  • Liaise. You will communicate with the Ontario ministry and by email with store locations and other personnel to remedy ADP corrections and omissions.

  • Review. You will update and audit location bank statements as assigned. You will proactively review outstanding AR for collections and cash applications.

What you bring:

  • The education and experience. You have a diploma or degree in business administration, accounting, or a related field. You have experience in an administrative role with cash management responsibilities or with a Finance or Accounting team in an office setting.
  • The technical skills. You are comfortable using basic software such as Word and Outlook. You have intermediate skills in Excel, including the ability to work with templates, sort entries, and create professional files. You can quickly learn new tools, including Teams for remote meetings and the accounting module in our ERP, Navision.
  • The open mindset and the ownership. You are detail-oriented, and you understand the need for structure in reporting. You are a problem solver, and you can anticipate and resolve issues quickly. You easily adapt to changing priorities, and you take a team approach to accomplishing your tasks.
  • The interpersonal skills. You can build relationships with your team members, and you are comfortable reaching out to store locations to collect and share information. You have excellent oral and written communication skills.
