Make a meaningful impact on housing availability in Nova Scotia through our Short-Term Rentals (STR) Program. This opportunity calls for a dedicated Short-term Rental Program Specialist to coordinate program delivery and compliance efforts. By overseeing third-party compliance reports, identifying actionable items, further investigating instances of non-compliance, and facilitating decision-making, the Program Specialist will play a crucial role in upholding the Short-Term Rentals Registration Act and related regulations. This role also involves assessing applications, mediating complaints, and managing program delivery across the province.

This opportunity is perfect for you if you have a completed a related Bachelor's degree combined with at least five (5) years of relevant experience. An equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
It is considered a strong asset if you have experience with compliance programs, including as an information officer, investigation officer, compliance and enforcement officer, or inspector.

Salary Range: $2,556.10 - $3,107.16 Bi-Weekly
