About Us

Established in 1963, Strescon Limited has grown to become the largest precast, pre-stressed concrete manufacturer in Eastern Canada. Its primary market covers the Atlantic Provinces and the New England region of the United States. Strescon manufactures a wide range of both architectural and structural precast/prestressed concrete products including bridge girders, wall panels, complete parking garages, hollow-core planking, piling and deck slabs. Strescon presently has two facilities: 70,000 sq. ft. in Saint John, New Brunswick and 50,000 sq. ft. In Bedford, Nova Scotia.

In addition to our engineered precast facilities for custom components, Strescon also operates a 32,000 sq. ft. facility in Saint John which manufactures standard concrete products for engineered drainage systems, such as pipe, manholes and catch basins.

Job Summary

The Document Printer is critical to ensuring communication of flow of work between the office and the plant. The ideal candidate will possess a high degree of organization and will have sufficient technical expertise to effectively prioritize and manage the printing workload. The Document Printer must be highly committed to delivering top notch customer service and precision quality document reproduction on a tightly managed production schedule.

Responsibilities

  • Issuing shop drawings - Downloading, making copies, folding, updating drawing list, printing off stickers, saving drawings and updating SharePoint
  • Scanning and photocopying of drawings for Project Management, Pipe Department, Fleet and Shop
  • Mailing out courier packages as required
  • Ordering supplies for machines and sending meter reads to suppliers
  • Compiling and ordering stationary orders once approved
  • Providing back up coverage for Office Administrator when needed
  • Additional duties as assigned

Technical Requirements

  • Minimum completion of high school education
  • Strong computer skills are required
  • Familiarity with Microsoft office programs would be an asset

  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with various departments internally and externally within the organization
