Horizon Health Network (Horizon) is actively recruiting Nursing Unit Clerks interested in pursing their careers in New Brunswick.

Nursing Unit Clerks are the heart of the nursing unit and provide overall administrative support to the unit. They use strong communication skills, compassion, and patience to address any administrative need that comes up. Nursing Unit Clerks work well with all members of the health care delivery team and are responsible for assisting with the delivery of care to patients. They are the pulse of the nursing unit and assist with many tasks who work a rotating shift schedule including days, evenings, nights and weekends.

What you will do

You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the nursing unit. You perform reception duties, process admissions, and coordinate transfers, enter physician orders, assemble, and forward charts, and perform general office duties.

Who you are

You have completed an administrative support program and have demonstrated proficiency in data entry, typing, medical terminology, Microsoft Outlook, and Microsoft Word combined with hospital work experience.

You have written and spoken competence in English.

You are flexible to work in a 24/7 environment.
