Overview

As the Bilingual Administrative Assistant, reporting to the Director of Client Solutions, you will be providing support to a team of Client Solutions Managers while managing the administrative and reception duties for Gallagher's Dieppe office. You'll get to perform a variety of office support and duties, such as being a key member to support the Commercial Mid-Market team.

How you'll make an impact

  • Collaborate with fellow team members by answering incoming calls and connecting the caller to appropriate associate; transfer caller to voice mailbox when associate is unavailable; takes and retrieves messages
  • Greet and direct visitors to the company; manage reception area to maintain a professional image
  • Receive, scan and forward incoming mail. Process outgoing mail
  • Ordering, receiving, stocking and distribution of office supplies
  • Perform administrative tasks and operational support activities for Senior Leaders and Colleagues
  • Act as a liaison with other divisions on basic administrative and operational matters
  • Provide backup support for the Admin COE
  • Process endorsements and changes, process new business and renewals, invoicing, binders, preparing certificates of insurance
  • Access and review various insurance company portals to gather data and information

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Good level of empathy and diplomacy
  • A hard-working, professional and flexible can do demeanour with a common sense approach
  • You are reliable, diligent and professional
  • Detail oriented, highly organized and customer service oriented
  • Ability to multi‐task between a variety of tasks, projects, and deadlines st-secondary education an asset
  • Computer proficiency with MS Office suites of products and ability to learn new systems and tools
  • Administrative experience in a corporate setting preferred
  • Bilingualism. Ability to communicate with clients and colleagues in both French and English #LI-SS1
