Reporting to the Manager of Health Information Services, the Cashier/Receptionist is responsible for a diversity of Health Information Services functions including front lobby reception duties, answering phones and inquiries, patching phone calls to other numbers both internal and external as necessary, contacting on-call personnel upon request, overhead paging as appropriate upon request, paging hospital codes and notifying the appropriate response team, late report processing and chart assembly, and report generation/dissemination.
