Shopify's mission is to make commerce better for everyone. To deliver on that promise, we're building a unified commerce platform that allows anyone, anywhere to pursue independence through entrepreneurship.
Shopify's Content & SEO team focuses on creating and distributing educational content aimed at helping merchants to become—and thrive as—entrepreneurs. As the Senior Editor, your work will focus on both strategic and line-level edits of SEO-led blog articles to ensure consistent, top-notch editorial framing, structure, formatting, and optimization are present.
As a representative of the editorial craft at Shopify, you'll also contribute to and uphold our editorial and style guidelines to help ensure editorial integrity and quality at scale. And as part of the Growth org at Shopify, you'll be responsible for contextualizing the impact of your work through a performance lens, proactively seeking opportunities to optimize content to improve performance, and brainstorming creative ways to scale your wins.
You're a strong editor familiar with the requirements of digital publishing production and best practices, and know how to balance rolling up your sleeves to get work done and proactively sharing new ideas and ways we could do things differently to improve. You're not afraid to take on new ways to create educational materials while ensuring any innovations don't come at a cost of editorial integrity.
