Description

This position contributes to the secretarial and administrative duties at Sunset Lodge and functions as the Administrative Coordinator for the Executive Director. The Admin Coordinator works within and supports the mission of The Salvation Army in Canada & Bermuda.

HOURS: 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM Monday - Friday

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • General Office Support
  • Document Preparation
  • Meeting Coordination
  • Clerical Support
  • Confidential File Handling

QUALIFICATIONS AND EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Related post-secondary education or equivalent.
  • Minimum of two [2] years related experience
  • Experience with computers and networks an asset

PREFERRED SKILLS/CAPABILITIES:

  • Ability to organize and prioritize work.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to deal effectively with others at all levels.
  • Ability to operate related equipment.
  • Physical ability to carry out the responsibilities of the position.

Successful candidates, prior to hiring, may be required to provide:

  • Background check consent.
  • A clear vulnerable sector screening.
  • A clean drivers abstract.
  • Completion of our online Armatus Abuse Training and required Health and Safety training.
