The Administrative Assistant is key to ensuring efficient daily operations within our prefab shop in Langley. This position supports administrative processes, coordinates deliveries, maintains records, and ensures smooth team communication. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, highly organized, and thrives in a fast-paced, changing environment.

*Hours of work are 6:15 AM - 2:30 PM, Monday to Friday.

    As a full-time employee, you participate in the following programs through a monthly payroll deduction. You are eligible for these benefits as long as you are employed with us.

    • Accidental Death & Dismemberment and Life insurance up to $350,000 up to age 65; then up to $175,000 up to age 70.
      Life insurance for your spouse $10,000 and $5,000 for each child up to your 70th birthday.

    ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES


    General Office Administration

    • Greet and assist visitors in a professional and welcoming manner.
    • Manage incoming and outgoing mail every week.
    • Maintain office and kitchen supplies to support daily operations.
    • Process and submit employee timesheets in a timely manner.
    • Assist with planning and coordinating team events.
    • Ensure the office and lobby areas remain clean and organized.

    Prefab Shop Support

    • Process work orders and maintain accurate records.
    • Monitor and distribute emails related to prefab operations.
    • Schedule maintenance and inspections for shop equipment.
    • Organize and track packing slips and supplier RFQs.
    • Print large-format drawings as required.
    • Coordinate shipping and delivery of prefab orders.

    Logistics & Tool Crib Support

    • Scan and upload truck schedules weekly.
    • Arrange courier services and deliveries as needed.

    *Responsibilities may be adjusted based on company needs and growth.


    Qualifications & Skills

    • One to two years of prior experience in an administrative role.
    • Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
    • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
    • High attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Willingness to learn and grow within the company.
