Position Summary:

Reporting to the Hatchery Manager, the Hatchery Coordinator is accountable for providing general administrative support to the Hatchery Manager and Operations team by coordinating internal and external correspondence, accurate data entry, monthly reconciliation, invoicing, and providing support to the Hatchery and Live Operations team including inventory control, Payroll, HR, AP, AR and overall office operations.

Key Accountabilities:

  • Accountable for filing, photocopying, and coordinating internal and external correspondence i.e. Mail, fax, courier;
  • Accountable for providing administrative support to the entire hatchery including preparation of reports to boards and commissions;
  • Accountable for accurate data entry and administering the HIMS system;
  • Accountable for ordering supplies for employees;
  • Accountable for preparing and coding all invoices for A/P department and A/R department;
  • Coordinating Logistics of deliveries;
  • Inventory management and procurement of vaccines and dry goods;
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Minimum grade 12 diploma;
  • Previous administrative experience an asset;
  • Proficiency with MS Office Applications (Word, Excel, Outlook);
  • Thorough knowledge of Kronos and Insync an asset.
