Job Title: Scheduler (Calgary)
Job Type: Part-Time - 16 hours

Hours: Saturday- Sunday (0000-0800)

Salary: $17.50 - 18.00/hr

As a Scheduler this role will be responsible for creating and managing schedules for our security personnel, for western Canada from the Calgary branch office. This role is crucial in ensuring that optimal coverage and service levels are maintained for our clients. It is expected as the Scheduler to work closely with security staff, management, and clients to coordinate and adjust schedules as needed.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain schedules for security personnel based on client needs and availability.
  • Monitor and adjust schedules in real-time to address staffing changes, absences, and coverage gaps.
  • Communicate effectively with security staff regarding their shifts, duties, and any changes to the schedule.
  • Coordinate with management to ensure compliance with labour laws and company policies.
  • Utilize scheduling software to track hours, manage overtime, and ensure accurate timekeeping.
  • Respond to scheduling inquiries and issues promptly to maintain high levels of service and satisfaction.
  • Maintain organized records of schedules, staff availability, and client requirements.
  • Assist in training new staff on scheduling protocols and company policies, as required.

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent; further education or certification in business administration or related field is a plus.
  • Proven experience in scheduling, administrative support, or a related field.
  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Proficiency in scheduling software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically under pressure.
