The Role
Reporting to the Supervisor Marketing Deals & Data, the Analyst Marketing Deals & Data plays a key role in ensuring all Trade Capture is carried out in an accurate and efficient manner, while adhering and upholding all relevant Gibson Energy policies.

What You Will Do

As an Analyst Marketing Deals & Data, you will:

• Captures deals on behalf of Marketing Traders and Supply Reps.
• Collects and analyzes deal information.
• Collaborates with Pricing & Contracts, Logistics and Trading and assists with information retrieval.
• Performs all checks and balances to ensure no deals are missing and/or deviating from appropriate vetting process.
• Demonstrates a personal commitment and proactive approach to Environment, Health & Safety (EH&S) through participation in all applicable EH&S programs and ensures safe operation of the branch, team or unit and compliance with all Company EH&S policies and procedures.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

What You Bring to the Role

• Bachelor's Degree in Commerce, Finance or related field.
• 1 - 2 Years of Relevant Experience (Experience in the energy industry is considered an asset).
• Experience in Right Angle considered and asset.
• A strong focus on providing top-notch service to both internal and external customers.
• Has a basic understanding of Crude/NGL/commodity marketing.
• Ability to work in a positive, team-oriented environment and achieve high levels of performance.
• Demonstrates an attention to detail with an emphasis on data entry.
• Possesses strong organizational skills and time management skills, with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to handle internal stakeholders' questions and complaints effectively and efficiently.
• Communicate efficiently, both internally and externally.
• Self-motivated, takes initiative, and adapts to change easily.
• Takes initiative in suggesting changes if opportunities arise.
• Overcome obstacles to meet assigned objectives on time.

This terminal is a world-class liquids terminal and export facility with very large crude carrier (VLCC) capabilities and direct pipeline connections to key basins like the Permian and Eagle Ford. The acquisition strengthens Gibson's cash flow with over 95% of the revenue under take-or-pay contracts with high-quality counterparties.
