Fleetway jobs
Fleetway originated in 1984 as Saint John Naval Systems (SJNS) in Halifax, Nova Scotia, established with the aim of providing engineering and logistics support to the Canadian Patrol Frigate (CPF) program, specifically for the Halifax Class ships.
Following the conclusion of the CPF project, Fleetway was formed through the integration of personnel from Saint John Shipbuilding Limited and Halifax Shipyard, the latter having acquired German Marine, the entity behind the design of the 12-vessel MCDV class.
In 1997, SJNS expanded by merging with Fleetway Consulting Services Inc. based in Ottawa, Ontario, resulting in the creation of Fleetway Inc. This newly formed entity, boasting offices in both Ottawa and Halifax, offered comprehensive engineering, logistics, and lifecycle support services to the Canadian Department of National Defence (DND), securing its role as the In-Service Support contractor for the Halifax Class frigates and Iroquois Class destroyers. Additionally, Fleetway ventured into Supply Chain management services catering to the Oil & Gas sector in Eastern Canada.
Over time, Fleetway has broadened its reach by establishing additional offices in St. John's, Newfoundland & Labrador, and Victoria, B.C., ensuring coast-to-coast service coverage for its clients.
